2008 Summer Program Information

May 16 (Friday) - try-outs with Dolfins buddies, 4:00-5:00 pm, cookies afterward. See Coach Sarah for consent forms.

May 19-23 and May 27-30 - try-outs and sign-ups

• During Dolfins practices, 4:00-6:00 pm, at Carson Valley Swim Center
• Any weekday afternoon during the summer (same cost; contact Coach Sarah for times and availability)

June 9th (Monday) - Summer Program practices begin.

The 2008 DDST Summer Swim Team Program runs for 9 weeks, from June 9th to August 10th. Participants are also invited to join in the Dolfins' Fun Week August 11-15 (additional costs may apply).

Flat cost ($175 starting June 16th) includes:

• Seasonal USA Swimming registration and insurance (registration form here)
• Team fees
• Team swim cap
• Team T-shirt
• Four fun 1-hour afternoon practices weekly.
• Three home twilight practice meets in July

Additional Benefits:

• Improve swimming skills and confidence
• Make new friends
• Competition meets in Bishop (June 20-22), Quincy (July 26-28), and Minden (August 8-10) (additional entry fees apply)
• Fun Week after Zone-4 Championship Meet, including a team trip to Wild Island in Sparks

All Swimmers must have 1-piece swim suits, and goggles (for sale at CVSC).  Girls must wear caps (included in cost).
