Short Course Swimming & Diving Records

Most of these records are also posted on the records board at Carson Valley Swim Center (CVSC). The version posted here is color-coded to reflect updates and some additional record categories not yet listed on the CVSC records board.

Long Course Swimming Records 1999-present

Long-course records were compiled starting in 2009 from results available on the Internet extending back to 1999. These records apply ONLY to the Douglas Dolfins Swim Team, and are NOT currently posted at CVSC. Please contact the webmaster (see above) if you can document any equal or faster long-course records.

General Information

The above records cover performances achieved in competition anywhere by swimming & diving athletes and teams based at Carson Valley Swim Center in Minden, Nevada. To date these teams include two age-group teams, the Douglas Dolfins Swim Team and (for a period during the 1990s) Sierra Highland Aquatics, and the Douglas High School Tigers (listed at the end of the Short Course Records). Only swimming times actually achieved in the specified course are listed. No altitude adjustments or conversions between courses have been applied.

High School records are those achieved only in High School competition. Age Group records are those achieved only in USA-Swimming sanctioned, approved, or observed competition, which usually includes season-ending High School championship meets. Therefore, some records from High School championship meets may also be listed among the Age Group records IF the athlete was also an active, registered Age Group team member at the time.
