CLOSED-DECK MEETS: For safety reasons, all meets hosted in Zone-4 of Pacific Swimming (including our home meets) are required to be closed-deck. The immediate pool deck is closed to spectators, including non-working parents, during competition. The deck isl still be open to swimmers, coaches, timers, officials, and other parents working the meet. There may be a staging area for young/new swimmers. Otherwise, non-working parents are restricted to designated spectator areas which, at our pool, include the mezzanine and non-cordoned portions of the indoor pool area, and the bleachers and grassy areas of the outdoor pool.

VISITING OFFICIALS NEEDED: visiting officials are always very much welcome at our meets. (There is no such thing as too much help!) Trainees with current USA Swimming non-athlete registration cards are always welcome too, as are parents just wanting to check it out. Standard officials attire in our area is white polo shirt or other top (minimal decoration, no large ads, lettering, or team-specific logos), dark blue pants, shorts, or skirt (no jeans), and white rubber-soled shoes with minimal decoration.
